Stumbled upon this quote written on my lovely tea bag this morning: “you can run after satisfaction but satisfaction must come from within.”  It got me thinking about the place I was at when I wrote this song “Unsatisfied”  off my first album.  So true that satisfaction must come from within and what a process it is to get there!  Boy oh boy especially for us crazy seekers.  Still workin on it but aren’t we all…

My mother almost gets thrown out of the Secretary of State’s office: the journey begins

My mother and I begin our cross country journey this morning by stopping at the Secretary of State’s Office to renew her license.  Well, the line was a little too long for Mrs. Borovik, so she proceeds to wander the room asking if anyone in front of her number will sell their spot for $20.  The gentlemen behind the desk told her “Mam, if you don’t sit down we are going to have to ask you to leave.”
